I would recommend this shop to anyone in a heartbeat. My Ford Focus overheated on my way home from work. White smoke was pouring out of the hood. It caught me completely off-guard. Honest 1 was the only shop out of the four that I called that could accept the tow the same day I called them. They fit me into what I imagine was an already tight schedule, while the other shops told me I would have to wait up to two weeks for them to see my car. While I totally understand that's not the other shops' fault (other people have dire car problems too!), I desperately need my car to get to work because public transit does not run to my job's location during my shift hours and I could not wait that long to have it seen. They immediately found three different problems with my car. A major coolent leak, a bad battery, and an oil change (that one I was expecting). They set to work on my car, fixed everything so they could make sure the head gasket was okay. They flat-out told me they wouldn't release the car without making sure it was completely safe to drive which was incredibly reassuring. And when they fixed the first coolent leak, they found *two more* leaks. I owe these guys for saving my car, and when they found the extra leaks and noticed parts of my engine needed to be cleaned they did it *no cost*. They saved me close to $200 in expenses on the extra leaks alone. Plus, I know everything I was charged for was reasonably priced and everything they found was legit. If them offering free labor for a chunk of the repairs wasn't enough to trust them, they had the seal of approval from my family. My sister has worked with cars for over 16 years, everything from mechanical to billing. She asked to see the quote and description of labor when I wasn't able to explain what the shop was doing to her satisfaction (my total knowledge of cars comes to about "the steering wheel makes it turn?" so when experts ask me about thermostat casings I simply do not have an answer, hah). She and the other car-savvy people of my family (including her husband who re-built an entire car from the ground up, and my father who has helped show exotic cars for most of his life) looked over the quote and assured me all the labor was legitimate, the costs were appropriate, and they were doing me a huge service. As a bonus, they are AAA approved and it was *so easy* to get the tow and get them my information right away for repairs. If you go here you are supporting a local shop (I've driven by it my entire life) with an amazingly attentive staff (always patiently answering any questions and explaining in layman's terms what's going on without a hint of judgement) and skilled mechanics that will fix your car and ensure it is tested again and again for safety before giving it back.
