Portland Auto Repair

Love these guys. They were patient with me and my van troubles (noises) while I obsessed over them. They confidently sorted it out and were very timely in doing so. Now, to pass DEQ. Sorry, H1....you've won my loyalties and inherited my business.

Absolutely the best auto-care center in all of Portland. We had to move from Portland to West Linn recently, but still drive clear up to these guys - even just for an oil change. Pete is the best. Always available with sound advise. Tells us all our options and never pressures us into any repair. We've had some major repairs and the service is unbeatable. It's hard to find an auto shop you have 100% trust in (one where they care about you and your needs and not just making money), but this is the place. We bring both our cars here and we'll never go anywhere else!

Just visiting the area and needed an oil change so I gave this place a chance. Called the day before and they had an opening so I made an appointment for the following day.When I got there I simply walked in they took my keys and went right to work on my car. Told me it would take 30-40 minutes, yet they were done in 20. Appreciate the speedy service! Seems like a great place! Not sure how they do on real repairs but if you need a quick and painless oil change check them out!

Had a small problem with my car this morning. Honest-1 took a look at my car on about 15 minutes notice, fixed the issue on the spot and had me back on the road in no time. All at no charge. I've been using this service for years and they are consistently great. Thanks, guys!

These guys are gruff and irritable. We had them diagnose our check engine light, which they told us would be no charge, and they were no able to find out what was wrong. Their diagnosis when I arrive was given to me with a helpless shrug. Then they tried to charge me $90! I was able to talk them down to half that, but still, what. Then I took my car in because it was wobbling on the axle and they told me I had over $1,000 worth of repairs to do to make it "even road-worthy" again. I asked them for an itemized list and he told me he would have to charge me for the time it took to write everything down!!! I then e-mailed that list to my uncle who told me that over half of the items were total nonsense. Avoid this place at all costs.

They patched my tire for FREE! I was able to drop it off and pick up my nail punctured tire in just a few hours even though they were very busy. No one provides this type of service.I've also had an alignment done here and they did a good job!

Dishonest business. Do not visit this or any "honest auto care" could not be furthest from the truth. Calling the news to tell them about overbilling, unnecessary repairs, and extreme rude disposition. "Honesty and Integrety are pillars...... unwavering commitment to customers......" what a bunch of Garbage. Plus, this business is listed several times on Google/Yahoo with different phone numbers so you are trapped into calling them. RIPOFF

Me and my husband always get top knotch, friendly, punctual service done on our car and truck! Pete ROCKS! He thoroughly explains everything with a ton of patience and fixes the problems EVERY SINGLE TIME! We always leave at ease and it's nice to be able to rely on an honest mechanic shop who treats you like family and has the best deals in town. Thanks again Honest-1 for taking care of our car/truck :) You know we'll be back :)
