Portland Auto Repair

I've taken both mine and my wife's car here for a handful of issues we've had over the past couple years. The crew here is always top-notch professional and nice, and each time have finished the work a helluva lot faster than I had expected (or even needed them to).These are honest guys doing great work. I don't think of taking my vehicles anywhere else anymore. Well done, fellas, and thanks!

I'm becoming a big fan of this place because in my few experiences they have been quick, knowledgeable, and fair priced. But recently I stopped by because one of my brake lights was out and I was about to go on a long trip. They not only fixed it immediately, but with no charge. I was in and out in 3 minutes. That doesn't happen much any more. It's a minor thing with major consequences. It feels like somebody cares and that I'm part of a community. Go team!

I had just started a road trip from Los Angeles to North Carolina when I realized that one of my headlights was out. When I arrived in Portland, I did a quick Yelp search and came across this establishment. Being as my father owns an auto repair shop, I like to think I know a thing or two about customer service and how to run a decent shop. All the employees here were fantastic. When my quick bulb change turned out to be much more tedious than the technician originally thought, he maintained contact with me letting me know that the service would take longer than I was originally quoted. I would definitely recommend this shop to both Portland residents and traveling tourists. In a world where it feels like every company is out to bankrupt most consumers, it is nice to know that there are some decent business owners and employees still out there.

Took my van to find out why my brakes were squealing and they replaced things, fixed thing... Whatever it is that auto shops do. Tow days later the squeal came back, but from the other side. Took it back and they weren't able to replicate the squeal, but they took stuff apart, lubed stuff and put it back together for no additional cost. No more squealing! Thanks, Honest 1!

As a woman with absolutely no knowledge about cars, I feel comfortable working with Pete and the gang. I don't feel pressured or intimidated and always feel I've been treated fairly and honestly. I recommend them to my other 'car-challenged' friends and everyone has had a good experience with them. Keep up the good work!

Got my alternator replaced here a year and a half ago and now I remember why I told myself to come back. He fixed a cracked pcv hose and valve for me same day, and even changed my oil at no extra charge because I was overdue. I'll keep coming back here for sure.

Love these guys. They were patient with me and my van troubles (noises) while I obsessed over them. They confidently sorted it out and were very timely in doing so. Now, to pass DEQ. Sorry, H1....you've won my loyalties and inherited my business.

Absolutely the best auto-care center in all of Portland. We had to move from Portland to West Linn recently, but still drive clear up to these guys - even just for an oil change. Pete is the best. Always available with sound advise. Tells us all our options and never pressures us into any repair. We've had some major repairs and the service is unbeatable. It's hard to find an auto shop you have 100% trust in (one where they care about you and your needs and not just making money), but this is the place. We bring both our cars here and we'll never go anywhere else!

Just visiting the area and needed an oil change so I gave this place a chance. Called the day before and they had an opening so I made an appointment for the following day.When I got there I simply walked in they took my keys and went right to work on my car. Told me it would take 30-40 minutes, yet they were done in 20. Appreciate the speedy service! Seems like a great place! Not sure how they do on real repairs but if you need a quick and painless oil change check them out!

Had a small problem with my car this morning. Honest-1 took a look at my car on about 15 minutes notice, fixed the issue on the spot and had me back on the road in no time. All at no charge. I've been using this service for years and they are consistently great. Thanks, guys!
