I found my new mechanic.

Our family has gone to Honest-1 for years now. The work is thorough, and I've never had a problem asking questions about what was done or following-up if I run into problems after taking the car in to them. The biggest thing for me is that I trust them to take care of my car without trying to make as much money off of me as possible. They let me know their advice, what is necessary and what is optional, and they let me make the decision about what to have done. I will leave my car with them for days when they are busy, even for a simple matter, because I know that they will be honest with me and do a great job with my car. I won't take my car anywhere else, period.

Wow, Jason at Honest-1 is my new best friend! The splash guard under my car came loose this morning and was scraping the ground as I drove to work. I pulled into Honest-1 (never been before) and asked if they could take a look. Not only did they confirm that it wasn't the end of the world, a technician re-affixed it right then and there and they didn't charge me! So impressed with the customer service, friendliness, and quick work. I'll definitely be returning for tires in the near future!

On October 15th, 2018 I had my vehicle towed to Honest 1 Auto Repair on Stark while I was at work because it wouldn't start over the weekend. Scott charged me $125 for a diagnostic fee, which is fine. I understand a mechanic's time is valuable. After they took a look at it they said my battery was dead then they wanted $495 total to replace it with a new one. FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE DOLLARS TO REPLACE A DEAD BATTERY! After I said I couldn't afford that Scott told me to get my car off their property immediately even though they charged me the $125. I ate the cost for a dead battery diagnosis on top of two towing costs. I did not have a good experience with this company and wanted to share with the public. If I could give 0 stars I would. I would not recommend this repair shop to anyone.

Talk about an honest mechanic shop. I have always been Leary on places that have the name honest in them but this place for sure will take care of you. If you go to the stark location Scotty is the best. They talk to you like you are a person, dont lecture you on neglect and make sure you understand the importance or relevance of the care needed in your car. You dont need a mechanics degree to understand what they are explaining. Might be a little more pricey than some locations but this experience is you get what you pay for. I would rather pay $10 more to KNOW and feel confident I am being taken care of in the right way. From simple as oil change to struts and transmissions. And if they cant do the work they have a great partnership with other business referrals!

Stopped in this morning to have a brake light replaced and not only did they replace it in less than 5 minutes, they did it as a courtesy NO CHARGE! Unexpected and appreciated, I will definitely come back when I need a service or other issue looked at. Thank you for your help this morning Jason!

These guys really take care of their repeat customers. After having some reliable brake work done earlier in the year here, I recently was preparing for a cross country road trip and not only did they help fix an issue with my hood latch free of charge, they offered me a complimentary oil change to send me on my way. My older vehicle performed swimmingly for the 2000+ mile journey. Thank you Jason for the fantastic service.

Something is just not right about this company. I have a mole in the company I will report back later.

This was my second time at this location, and I would recommend this location over the Southeast 82nd location in a heartbeat. I went in to have my oil changed, and the customer service, in the speed were excellent!
