Portland Auto Repair

This is a small shop and I never really noticed it, even though I drive by it fairly often. But then I was looking at buying a used car, and wanted a mechanic to check the clutch out. Other shops had a wait, and charged over $100. A-1 said they would charge $75 for a full inspection of the whole car, but that I could also just bring it by and a mechanic would test drive it and give me his opinion on whether the clutch was ok. I did. He did. The clutch was ok and they didn't charge me for the opinion, even though I tried to pay. I've never had work done there, but I wouldn't hesitate to take a car there in the future.

When asked for input, they gave it and they did not hold back to tell her what was specifically wrong and if it would be worth fixing. She said she felt the man who owns the business is very nice. Every question she had he answered to the best of his ability.

"25,000 mile tune up" I have had many interactions with both Pete and Scott. They always give me great service and never try to up sell me on services that could be done but are not needed. I was sent to them by a friend and have referred many of my friends. Honest-1 is an outstanding company.

I usually don't give 5 stars but we were quoted a good price. And when they got to the end of the job they discovered our gas had turned to molasses because the car sat for 2 years so they fixed it at no extra charge. They also have a nice clean rental car for you to use in the mean time. Great customer service.This is for the one in Vancouver Wa.
